She must be enrolled in the Bachelor of Science in Dietetics & Nutrition, and be successful in all her courses. She must be an active member of the University of Technology Association of Nutrition and Dietetics (UTAND). The grant is named for Egbert Brown who provided guidance in identifying a tertiary institution and financial assistance in the initial years. Rosalee Brown first attended the College of Arts Science and Technology in 1978-81 and again the Utech in 1995-1997
